The farm was established in 2014 as a family agricultural enterprise by Cinzia and Davide Giraldin, the farm operates in Monselice (Padua province) at the base of the Euganean Hills. Our story begins with Grandma Teresa’s passion for the land – a love passed down to her son Sante, who shared her deep connection to this fundamental element of life. Today, Cinzia carries on the tradition, personally overseeing every step of the production process. Back in 2012, partly as a game and partly out of curiosity, we bought our first kilo of Crocus sativus bulbs. To our great delight, we watched them grow and bloom—those first precious buds. In 2014, after years of cereal crops, we decided to dedicate part of our land to growing something virtually unknown in our region – SAFFRON.
